Meditation for

Modern-Day Living

A one-day course led by Jason Lee

Artist, Author and Professional Nurse

The ASHA Centre

Saturday, 8th November 2008

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The pace of living in to-day’s world is fast, furious and sometimes forbidding!

The demands of our gluttonous, get-rich, glamour-mesmerised society are bewildering.  At some point, don’t most of us cry in our hearts, “Stop the world, I want to get off!!”

There is only one way to live positively and at peace amid all the hurly-burly.

That way is to first achieve, and then to maintain, balance and harmony of mind and emotions.  Living in this state equips you to deal with all that life may throw at you.

This course is designed as the first step towards achieving constant inner calm.

Its aim is to guide you, first to a realisation of your true self, then towards the experience of relinquishing the outer life for a time in order to enter your own unique inner world.  Within this silent but potent place contact can be made with tranquility, poise and lightness of heart.

We will travel along the road together, exploring, discussing and experiencing that most wonderful part of ourselves - the real part - the silent, unseen but very much alive Higher Mind or Soul.

Jason Lee is a young man of well-developed intuitive awareness who has been following the spiritual path for many years.  Highly trained in his chosen vocation as a nurse and in the martial art, Tai Kwon Do, he has always been deeply involved in health issues, particularly the maintenance of a healthy body and psyche.  During a spiritual retreat in the ruined city of Teotihuacán in Mexico some years ago, he was blessed with an inflow of esoteric knowledge and an expansion of his already considerable intuition.  His aim is to pass on to others the essence of what he has personally proved to be The Path of Enlightenment.  His book “Flight of the Mystic Eagle” describes his Mexico adventure, what he learned and how it changed his life.

£45 per person - morning coffee, a light lunch and tea are included in the course fee.

B&B is available at the ASHA Centre.
